Set deep within the mangroves of Langkawi island on the northwest shores of Malaysia, Barn Thai is probably the only restaurant of its kind in the world.

A 450 metre long wooden walkway takes visitors into one of nature's true wonders, a mangrove forest. Great pains were taken to ensure that the ecological balance was undisturbed and the environment remains preserved.

A prime example of YTL's construction expertise, Barn Thai blends in harmoniously with its surroundings and is an excellent site for a spot of bird watching.
